On-tap served in a stemmed glass at Mikkeller Bangkok.
Inky black in color, it comes with no head to speak with but has only some tan bubble along the rim with limited amount of lacing.
The aroma is mostly dominated by aromatic black coffee like a local kind of coffee. There are also notes of roasted malt, burnt sugar, and some dark bread. No astringency and little typical coffee sourness.
Still mostly black coffee takes over the palate with its roasted coffee bean and some sourness. Roasted malt participates too as well as notes of dark bread and some bitterness from both roasted malt and hop.
Light body with some good crisp and lively carbonation through the palate, it is a bit watery with some smoothness. Finish is dry. This one is taste and smell like a local black coffee. Maybe it was brewed by this purpose.
