Pours a nice dark gold colour, with a midsized head. Hoppy and a bit sweet on the nose. The bitterness carries through to the taste, with some malt character in the background. Reminds me of a good west coast IPA. Nicely carbonated

Served on tap (Y) in a 16 oz (473 ml) nonic at Craft Heads Brewing.
A: Pour a hazy, dark golden color with robust head formation leaving a two finger, foamy, white head, solid retention, and rings and rings of complex, sticky lacing.
S: Aromas of lemon zest, caramel, maybe some ripe peach, and honeysuckle.
T: I have to call it semisweet to semidry. Flavors favor the nose, but with the addition of juniper (I have them in my yard and I have had Belgian Genever) Solid bitterness creates real balance.
M: Medium bodied with strongly persistent effervescence. Smooth, almost creamy.
O: Per the server, this is their house favorite. I can see why. Just an excellent, satisfying AIPA.
My rating is based on the tap tasting. That said, tried it out of the bottle and found the aromas and tastes were similar but substantially muted, except the bitterness which is slightly stronger. Unfortunately, there was no production date. Really tastes much more like a traditional, English IPA.
