Really dark brown pour with creamy, mocha head. Aroma is sweet with chocolate and dark cherry notes. Smells like liquid chocolate and fruit cake. Taste follows with sweet chocolate and dark cherries and some kind of almond/vanilla extract for baking or rum flavoring. Finish gets more roasty and bitter with the cake flavoring still lingering in the aftertaste. Body and carbonation are really smooth and the ABV is hidden really well. Overall it has a solid base beer and some slightly artificial flavors but they work quite well. Really nice mouthfeel and dangerously drinkable for 11.6% ABV.
