Kerlogue Red is somewhat more deep brown than red. There is some sweetness to the brew along with banana. It follows the style of an amber ale. There is less refreshing taste than I expected from a red ale. The brewer's website claims a dry finish. My beer didn't give me that impression. My sample is from a draft-filled crowler dated 4-8-19.
