A brewery in an industrial park, with a fair amount of parking available. Inside is rustic and wear-house like. Plenty of seating at the bar, or tables. Outside seating is weather permitting. Dogs are welcome.
The beer selection was good, I counted 14 taps, plus a selection of canned beer to choose from. Plus some wine, cider and seltzer type of drinks for non beer drinkers. Televisions above the bar for those looking to watch a game. Live music also scheduled. And no prepared food available unless there is a food truck.

I stopped in here with Alison last week after school ended and we went down to Great Falls for an afternoon hike and gave this a shot on the way back. Big well lit tap room with lots of wood, check. Solid selection of summer taps, maybe eight or nine. I went with the Paint Branch pilsner and was reasonably happy. Not much for in house food but they had some snacks I think. Service and vibe were solid. I would definitely give it another shot soon.

Located amid a bland industrial block near the DC Metro Twinbrook Station, 7 Locks has been around for a few years as part of the brewery renaissance occurring in Montgomery County, once an infamous "beer wasteland. The tasting room is a very large one; to the rear, are the gleaming brew tanks; around the room are several communal tables, upholstered furniture that appears to have come from Goodwill, and in the center is the bar area. The crowd is friendly and lively. If you wish, there are games to be played - including a giant Jengo game. There are food trucks on weekends. They have about ten of their own beers on tap, including about two or three IPAs, including the tasty Devils' Alley. Enjoyable place. Glad to see MoCo joining the beer world.

A decent local brewery that has a fairly standard tap room with a crossover brewery/bar concept with occasional food tricks, trivia might, corn hole and board game options.
Local delivery options are available, but this is mostly a tasting room/happy hour gathering place. Which is nice in many aspects. The tap list has just under a dozen options, including a saison, sour, lager (Vienna), 2 stouts and a few pale ales,
The pale ales weren't special, but were drinkable. There was some promise in the stouts, and the sour and saison were passable. If they could dial in their pales more - with stronger and more distinct bitterness, we'd be up a notch or so.

Visited on a Sunday around noon, just after they had opened. A Redskins game started at 1pm. Place was empty. Took a few tasters, purchased a growler of Surrender Dorothy and then left.
If I lived in Bethesda, etc. I would probably try this place often. Certainly like the fact that its a brewery just outside the beltway.
V - Your typical warehouse brewery tasting room. A bit dark, but with TVs for the game. A nice bar, etc. Average to slightly below average vibe. Maybe if there had been a bunch of people in the place it would have felt differently. 3
Q - Never complain about quality when you are at the source. All seemed well. Glasses were clean. 4
S - Service was fine. 3.75
S - A varied selection of styles were offered by 7 Locks as well as two guest taps, one of which was a cider. 3.75
