Towerhill Brewery "Nitro Irish Stout"

A very nice looking pint - it looks like a Guinness. It also smells like a Guinness, although perhaps slightly maltier and more roasty. Hmmm... the flavor is a little fuller in that same way, and it's more rounded and smooth than a Guinness (which actually has a bit of a harsh edge to it). Very nicely done. Irish stout is kind of limited in its range, it basically has to be what people expect it to be, and Towerhill has delivered on that.
