Copenhagen 2/6 2025. 33 cl bottle from N'Bro Kiosken. Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Drawing of an armored crusader on label.
Pours clear yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as uneven and lumpy layer of foam just managing to cover the surface the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and a bit sugared odor mingling with a yeasty scent of humid, damp cellar. Sweet pale malts, brown sugar and toffee. Moldy and earthy fumes.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Touch of alcohol. Finish is semi-dry.
A very Belgian Belgian.
