Pretty much overwhelming cinnamon aromas and flavor. I didn't really notice any malts. Hard to taste anything else. It isn't undrinkable if you like cinnamon. Almost like a spiced cider. That being said, I wouldn't drink it again.

Taste- Super sweet and thick with Cinnamon
Feel- Overwhelmingly thick

Served on draft. Cloudy amber with a small slightly off-white head. Aromas of cinnamon, allspice, clove. It's extremely perfume-like. Flavor is flat out terrible. Overly sweet, tons of cinnamon and spice. Absolutely no balance in this beer at all. Almost like liquid potpourri.

It is different. I may have been sucked in on the 7.2%.

Bought this in a mix and match and had no idea it was iron city until after drinking and looking up.
A - cloudy Amber. Tons of carbonation get on the side of the glass. Little head and less lacing
S - fireball whisky and cinnamon (though I'm pretty sure they're synonomous). I was open minded until I smelled it, then I immediately knew this was a beers take on the fashionable (but sh*tty) fireball whisky. However I respect the attemp to incorporate cinnamon into a beer
T - holy fuuuu it's sweet. Actually could have potential but this is not a beer. There's no balance. It's a sweet malt liquor with copious amounts of cinnamon added.
M - average to light. It's whatever.
O - different and worth a once or twice. But hardly a beer. This "lager" is to beer as much as what fireball is to glenlivet.

I like flavored beers when they get it right.
This one is good.
Definitely worth a try... I tried a few!
Bought a case a few days later.

I had heard of this bad boy, but I had not seen any until I got to Bridgewaters Pub at 30th Street Station in Philly and they were having a close-out special on it. They are now licensed for takeaway, so I got a sixer, in case anyone else is curious.
From the bottle: "A Fiery Lager".
To those of us fluent in Pixburgese, this would be pronounced "Red Hot Arn, 'n' 'at". 7.2% ABV?!? Get ahtta tahn!
I Pop!ped the cap and an aggro pour produced two-plus fingers of dense, tawny head with great retention. Nose had a cinnamon and baked apple spiciness and it kind of tickled my sinuses. Speaking of Cinnamon, there was an exotic dancer at Papa Joe's in Ceiba, PR back in 1993 when we (NMCB-5) arrived at Camp Moscrip (Camp Mousetrap) and she and another beauty, Momma China, were both from Da 'Burgh! I showed up the first night in Pittsburgh Pirates garb and was invited up on stage to dance with them as a result. Did I? Hell, yeah! I was down to my tighty whities and would have gone Full Monty except that management stepped in. Back to the beer. Color was Deep Amber/Light Copper to Copper (SRM = > 13, < 17) with NE-quality clarity. Mouthfeel was medium. It was not so much fiery as spicy on the tongue, with an accompanying lager sweetness. The finish was literally breathtaking! It had a cooling spiciness that reminded me of cinnamon mouthwash or chewing a stick of Big Red gum. This may all sound really oddball, but I liked it. A couple/few before a Stillers game? Hell, yeah! Fire up the Blast Furnace, 'n' 'at 'n' let's get it on!

Probably the worst beer I've ever had. I couldn't find in anything other than a case; most of it ended up down the drain because I couldn't give it all away. Way too much cinnamon flavor -- like they were trying too hard. A couple friends thought it was alright, but these are my same friends that don't like beer...
