A crystal-clear, pale straw-gold body reveals fast-rising, standard-sized bubbles beneath a short head of pillowy, bright-white foam. The head retention is fairly decent given the style, and it maintains a nice collar and whispy surface covering throughout most of the glass. It even leaves a few splashes of transient lace with each sip! The nose offers some sweetish malt with a touch of yeasty sulphur and perhaps a hint of cooked vegetable that dissipates as you progress through the glass. The body is light, and it's crisp across the tongue with a standard level of carbonation (@ 2.5 volumes). Lightly sweet, adjunct-laden malt greets you in the flavor; balanced by subtle bitterness. The can advertises that no sugar is added so they must be using corn. It's fairly clean, although there is some huskiness or vegetal flavor going on in the background. It finishes short and dry with just a film of maltiness lingering in the mouth. At the rock-bottom price point this beer sells for, it's a steal!
