Viewed through the glass it's dark, but when on an angle you get nice reddish-brown color, maybe burnt amber. The lace is a nearly pure white, just a hint encircling the glass.
The nose is roast and vanilla and that's followed with the flavor, just a bit warmer that what Uno's poured it and I'd imagine this would open out really nicely. It's a little thin on the body, but I'd come back to this over and over.
