Accidental goodness from the Troubled Monk! This beer looks great in the glass, has a faint caramel nose, and really comes into its own when it hits your lips. The coffee, roasted malt, and light hopping all bring things together nicely. I took this to a camping trip last weekend and it disappeared into random cups around the fire, so I had to grab another growler in order to get properly acquainted.

Their first seasonal, apparently a happy accident resulting from early batches of their brown ale not containing enough roasted malt. Odd thing is, I actually prefer to the brown--better carbonation, without the roasted malt going too overboard. It's a solid brew.
