A golden stout. This is a completely new style to me, so I was somewhat skeptical. However, I was really impressed with this beer. It pours like a typical golden, though the color is a bit deeper. It’s the nose that first catches your attention - chocolate and vanilla? Fortunately, the flavors blend beautifully with the malt to produce a very unique taste. This was a perfect Christmas beer and I hope they bring it back next year.
