A well balanced flavorful west coast style IPA, the Middle Fork is the flagship IPA of Mills River Brewery. Light citrus aromas sit on top of the Mosaic hops complex herbal flavor resulting in a powerful combination.

12 oz undated can from an Ingles Market near the NC brewery.
This Mosaic IPA is unusually dry, which works well with the medium-light, crisp body. Average+ bitterness for the style. Loads of herbal notes from the Mosaic hops. Overall, it has a nice mix of boldness and easy drinking, but with an aftertaste that is more bitter than I'd prefer.

Enjoyed a pint with lunch today with Da Boss for $5.62.
Beer was served clear golden with a nice white head.
Nose was a nice light tropical fruit.
Taste was a lighter pale malt base with a hint of mango and grapefruit with a nice dose of bittering pine hops; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall a solid flavorful IPA. Will try a canned version soon!

4/27/22 On tap at the most beautiful outside beer garden! Weather was perfect, no crowds due to early part of day mid week. Watched a Phoebe taking care of it's nest!
Beautiful straw color. Medium lacing. Delightful IPA on the nose. Very high average solid IPA!
