Poured from a can, dated 6/2/2021.
It's a very nice, light hoppy lager. Smell and taste of sweet bready malt, floral noble hops, and a bit of bitterness.
Tasty!
I like it, but I think for a true Kolsch style it should be a bit crisper and clearer in appearance and flavor.

32 ounce can purchased from the brewpub. This is one of the better American-style Kölsch beers that I've had. The only thing I would mention is that the hops are more prominent than in a Reisdorf, Fruh, or even Gafel (traditional imported Kölsch beers). I had this last year and it didn't seem so hoppy then, but my memory of it may be unreliable. Still, it's a super high-quality brew, that hits all the right benchmarks for a Kölsch, and the extra-hoppiness should please most IPA drinkers.

Pours dirty gold with a light haze. Moderate head. Initial ring of lace, streaky spots thereafter.
The smell is quite mild. Leans malty but very faint.
The taste has a touch of berry sweetness. The finish dries out bringing out the bittering hop. The aftertaste is nicely balanced between the two. Full bodied for the style but with ample carbonation. Easy to drink lighter ale.
Second Tasting (Aug 8, 2021), served in a can
The biggest difference comes in the smell: this is a dramatic improvement from my original 3.25 rating. Here the aroma is fresh with dominating, clean pale malt but also with enough floral hop for balance.
