Nearly clear amber to brown color. Nearly no head. No lace.
Darker malt nose. Some nuttiness; a bit "rustic?"
Lots dry, darker crystal malt. Borderline earthy with plenty of crushed fall leaves to the flavor. An autumnal beer. Rich with enough carbonation for balance. Malty finish and aftertaste. The beer is not devoid of hop but they never come forward in a notable way.
