Cloudy, dirty gold color. Good streaks and spots from a small but lasting head.

Strong weedy, vegetal smell. Pale malt is way in the background.

Bitter from start to finish with a sweet maltose base. Richer body with a quite low carbonation level. There’s a berry-like sweetness that balances the straight up bitterness. Longer aftertaste.

 

 

 

Tasting a batch that was canned earlier this afternoon. Thick yellow haze in glass, notes of pineapple and melon in the bouquet. plush mouthfeel and bright hop acidity on the nose gives way to a distinctly Azacca finish. I'd like a bit more creaminess to the feel and finish but overall a very pleasant offering from the folks at Winter Hill Brewing. Would love to see them brew a NEIPA with flaked oats for the record!
