This watermelon hefeweizen is partially correct. It does have a hazy yellow body, good lacing and creamy head on top. It doesn't have much aroma outside of the watermelon (and it's succulent watermelon), and certainly not that spicy/banana thing common in a hefeweizen. Even tasting it, I was thinking that the hefeweizen monikor was used to mean wheat ale. I do taste watermelon, and a simple, non-descript wheat ale. It's a watermelon wheat, a decent one, best used to rev your engine or quench your thirst.
