A- The tallboy pours into a gueuze glass with a fairly cloudy golden body and a fluffy white head. The cap ascends to a finger high with fairly good retention. Spotty lacing.

S- Kettle sour lactic acid and whole grains with a touch of hops on the nose in the backdrop giving off notes of citrus and stone fruits. A nice hint of lime rounds it all out.

T- Lime becomes much more apparent here and joins the lactic acid and a grainy malty flavor to become the main driving force of the flavor. Hops bring some citrus, mango and floral notes but take a back seat to the strong lime flavor here.

MF- Light bodied with a moderately high level of carbonation. The texture is creamy and soft and overall the beer is smooth with a tart finish and some lime zest bitterness.

A mix of lactic acid, lime and hops in the aroma with much more lime influence in the flavor.

My first beer from this relatively local brewery. My local store got this in at the request of one of the employees who swears by their brews. Let’s see if this one holds up

Pours a hazy golden orange with a finger of short lived fizzy white head that reduces to a ring and leaves minimal lacing

The aroma is really simple, bringing notes of lime, mango, light crackery malt, and a very slight floral hop note

The taste is at least better here, but still simple. It starts off with flavors of lime, lemon, orange, and a touch of salt like a gose, which I’m starting to think this nondescript wild ale might actually be. The swallow momentarily drives up the salinity and brings more very tart lime and lemon, crisp malt, and a late general grassy hop character that kept things interesting

A light body pairs with surprisingly low carbonation but results in a beer that is still thirst quenching. It is a bit disappointing that this isn’t completely dry due to the hopping, though it is pretty close

This one wasn’t too bad. Nothing special, but I definitely think it was worth a try. Quite nice for a quick session beer. I’ll give them a shot again
