I wasn’t really impressed by this beer for some reason. For a zwickl it was somehow too light, too watered-down. Had some hop feel to it that I tried to enjoy but it just ended up mediocre. TBH I have doubts about beers labeled as “bio” because in most cases they end up being a far cry from the original. Sorry for being an @$$ but give me a normal beer instead of trying to be oversensitive.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Dark straw with very slight haze. Pours with a 12mm pillowy off-white head.
S- Light, I just get some grain.
T- Brightly hoppy, trad hops, quite dry, clear grains, light on malt. (Ps the taste seems to grow somewhat as it warms a touch, I suggest not serving hard-chilled, well not if you want a low taste experience)
F- The body is light (and bright) through there is a 'creamy/rounded' aspect to it too. CO2 in the mouth is good. The foam cap in the glass is holding up too.
O- It's a light feeling beer, say around 4.5%. It's pleasant to drink though it hasn't any notable charecteristics or wow elements (IMHO). Ie there is no reason to draw me to buy this again.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! ==> 'Zwickl - Full bodied Marzenbier' etc...
500ml bottle BB: 01/11/2021 £3.10 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

Slightly hazy golden color with fluffy white head. Aroma has mostly grainy malt and white bread crust with a hint of ripe apple flesh. Taste is sweet, malty and bready with just a hint of hop bitterness on the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Quite hearty lager, I would prefer a touch more bitterness.

Trumer Privatbrauerei Josef Sigl "Obertrumer Original"
,5l brown glass bottle, Mindestens haltbar bis: 07.03.18" and sampled on 23.09.17
Notes: Clear golden body beneath a full head of fluffy white that holds fairly well and leaves decent lacing as it goes. The aroma is malty and herbal - very basic. The flavor follows: malty with herbal and lightly grassy and floral hops backing it. A median bitterness balances it and it finishes short lingering and dry. Medium bodied and smooth. Quite easy to drink but not particularly memorable.
