Blue Moon Bar & Grill

 

Multi level and mid sized spot, kinda dark, with a on the young side and hipster vibe, lots of pinball machines upstairs and edgy, on the weird side music all over. Tasty fish sandwich but their in house NEIPA was on astringent side. Not my favorite place in town. Ample worthy beer, some decent food options, worth a visit. But not really a must visit kinda place

The staff can take a few moments to warm up to, but, they're actually pretty cool once you get to know them. More to the point, the beer selection is absolutely fantastic. In a city where everyone seems to have 100+ taps, Blue Moon may not seem like it has enough to compete (10 or so), but, man, what a selection they manage! Surly, Door County, Ballast Point, Ale Asylum - any brewery with merit seems to find their way into their constantly rotating selection, with no beer there for long. Beers include nitros, milk stouts, chili beers - regardless of your tastes, you'll find something.
