One of the newer -- well, at least newer to me -- Stoney Creek offerings is a definite winner. Just had it on-tap at Ashley's the other night.
A traditional porter to match their fairly popular Vanilla Porter, this guy is dead nuts on. Exceptionally well done. Brown/black in color with a deep tan head. Chocolate malt -- the grain, not the tasty dessert treat -- aromas, though a little milky and soft. Definitely roasted malt flavors on the palate. Almost stout-like, really. Very smooth and exceedingly easy-to-drink.
