This brew poured a transparent dark brown body and a medium sized off-white head that was mostly lasting. It had a mild malty aroma and a strong malt Doppelbock flavor. Its mouthfeel was initialoly slightly fizzy and has a caramel flavored smooth finish.

Stoney Creek Dopplebock :An American made strong lager hailing from Detroit, Michigan. EAST...SIDE!!! Or so that was how it was described to me. This beer was a deep garnet color, with little head. Very light aroma, although your correspondent was sampling in the tavern, which mitigates any the aroma. Whew, malts dominate this brew, from beginning to end. This beer has a fairly unpleasant aftertaste that is very hard to place. Not worth it.
