Pours amber with little head retention. Has a nice malt flavor with some hops on the finish. Easy drinking. A very enjoyable beer.

On tap at brewery:
Brunette with a near-white cream cap, light lacing.
Nose is light, sweet toast, toffee, dark cherry and generally typical for the style. Taste has a bit more of a heavier toast than expected. Otherwise it resembles the nose, but with all the aspects more noticeable. A little fruit&spice (more the former) bitterness balances the beer nicely, with a little melanoidin sneaking to the end.
Little heft from some residual sugar, but well within bounds. This is a good beer for me, leaning just a slight bit more brown with a good bitterness.
