Presenting Twinpanzee's version of the Black Is Beautiful beer project for equality. The Twinpanzee family joined hundreds of breweries around the world to brew Black is Beautiful. Organized by Weathered Souls Brewing Co, Black Is Beautiful is a collaborative effort amongst the brewing community and its supporters who believe in bringing awareness to the injustices that many people of color face daily and to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone. Our version was brewed with generous amounts of oat, wheat and then conditioned on custom made RED VELVET cakes baked up by blacked owned business Chantel’s Bakery. We are honored to have brewed this beer and proceeds will be donated to the local Loudoun County NAACP chapter.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a snifter glass.
L - Pours a dark brown, almost black, with a slight tan head that dissipates quickly.
S - Smells of a coffee roastiness.
T - The taste matches the smell, kind of a slight coffee flavor, but nothing overpowering. It has a slight sweetness, but not cloying. It reminds me of a cola with alcohol.
F - Almost full bodied with very little carbonation.
O - I’m having a hard time describing the taste on this one. It’s not bad, it’s just very subtle flavors. Maybe the red velvet cake is confusing my taste buds. It definitely doesn’t feel like a 12.5 % beer.
