Ravens Brewing 'Three Monks' Belgian Tripel @ 8.9% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is gold from the can to almost clear gold in the glass with a small size white head , dissipating into a minimal lace ring along the tulip
S-intense amount of Belgian yeast
T-same as smell , big bitter swallow
MF-mild carbonation , feels full bodied , kinda warming
Ov-possible shelf turd (it was on sale)

Out of the fridge and out of a can into an Averbode tulip. Understated CO2, very light lacing which dissipates faster than Donald Trump's tax returns. Smell is a slight tropical aroma with a hint of hoppy backfill.
Abv of 8.7 is masked very well. Has a quality spin in the glass that is just so ever looking like it has syrupy qualities.
It has a hoppy bite that seems a little metallic on the aftertaste and definitely numbed the roof of my mouth. Bitter element comes on stronger as it warms up. I would order again, but would quaff colder rather than letting it warm up. Kind of like a supercharged Pilsner.
