Received as an extra in a trade. Canned on 6/13/18. So, three months old.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice super hazy super dark burnt orange/gold hue with a creamy one finger head that fades to leave a light blanket.
S - Aromas of old hops, little bit of caramel malts, flashes of pine/citrus but also hot almost fusel alcohol.
T - Taste is not quite as bad as the nose. The malts are there, somewhat heavy and caramel forward. Lighter pine and softer citrus as the hops fade. Finish is a little bitter, not much alcohol though occasionally it does pop up to remind you this is double digits. At this point, it tastes heavily West Coast influenced. As it warms the bitterness ramps up.
M - Mouthfeel is just excellent. Lightly carbonated, creamy, with a medium heavy body that really hangs around on the tongue. Alcohol is hidden quite nicely.
O - Overall this probably was a really enjoyable DIPA when fresh, however, now it is certainly past it's prime. Still though there are flashes of what was once there. Really enjoying the mouthfeel of this beer, almost stout like.

A 1 pint can, canned on 15th March 2018. Poured into a MBCC 2018 stemmed tasting glass.
Appearance: It was a cloudy mango juice orange with a half finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly, but left some thin but nice lacing.
Aroma: Orange juice, grapefruit, mango and light candied citrus.
Taste: Tangy, bittersweet, citrus, orange rind, grapefruit peel, pine and pineapple with only a hint of bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This was pretty good, but perhaps too purely citrusy for me to fully appreciate.

Really hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has candied citrus fruits, mostly orange and lime with a light crystal malt background. Taste is bittersweet, citrusy, a bit of booze on the finish, low bitterness. Full bodied, medium carbonation. A bit boozy but for its high ABV it's quite drinkable.
