Received as an extra in a trade.
A - Poured in to my Duvel tulip a nice hazy dark straw/pale gold hue with a good one and a half finger head that faded slowly to leave a thin blanket and light creamy lacing.
S - Aromas of generic tartness at first with flashes of peach pit, however, heavy swirls brings out tart peach candies. The kind that is rolled in sugar. Little bit of lacto creaminess, not getting much hops at all.
T - Taste is more generic tartness, little bit of stone fruit pits and more peach gummy candy. there are flashes of grassy hops but the tartness overwhelms it. Same for the creaminess. It's there but the tartness overpowers.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, slightly flemmy due to the tartness.
O - Overall this beer confuses me. In no realm is it an 'IPA'. A kettle sour...sure. This would be a stellar kettle sour but for what it's being billed as, an IPA it is not. Tasty for sure, but not even close to the style.
