Canned 8/08/18, a style I'm really not a fan of, thanks to rudzud I guess
Pours a nice pinkish creamy thick frothy head fades semi slowly with tons of lacing, super hazy pinkish auburn color
Nose brings some fruit, a berry jam mix, raspberry and strawberry specifically stick out, some citrus tropical hops in the background, an obvious lactose as well,
Taste brings more of the same, lactose out front, creamy but milky, more berry jam blend, a bunch of different berries even harder to pick any out, like berries in a bowl with real whipped cream on top, some bitter notes from hops and maybe tannic seed, mild tropical citrus hops clash with the berries and cream big time, a little doughy creamy malt adds a decent touch at least, and a little tart souring like note and lactic acid
Mouth is med bod, decent carb, a bit creamy milky
Overall this was not really my style of beer, yeah the berries are nice, the creamy flavors are OK but mixed with fruity citrus tropical hops are clashing, the base of lactose fruit IPA just doesn't go together well in general and this beer is no exception, to me this is not really a beer and not that enjoyable

Received a can of this as an extra. Canned on 08/08/18
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a hazy dark red berry hue with a one finger slightly pink head that fades to leave light lacing and a thin creamy blanket. Great color.
S - Aromas of seedy red berries, maybe a little raspberry and strawberry. Little lacto, not much vanilla. Not getting any Mosaic hops, which I suppose is a good thing.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Nice tartness, good generic seedy berries. Light raspberry and strawberry. The vanilla is pleasant. Hops come out every now and again with a little bit of citrus. Nice tartness. This is more like a kettle sour or such than an IPA.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, little crisp, little flemmy.
O - Overall this is a solid beer. I don't really think this is an IPA though. More like a kettle sour or something like that. Nice fruit going on.
