IPA brewed in the standard Wren House hoppy beer style. Brewed with North American 2-row pale and Pilsner malts, a touch of Weyermann Specialty Malts Carafoam & a heavy hand dosage of flaked oats. Whirlpool hopped modestly with some Amarillo as well as some super high oil content Mandarina Bavaria. The beer was then dry hopped with the same at equal amounts totaling 3.5lb/bbl. This beer is straight up citrus on so many levels. Immediately there is an aroma of bottomless mimosas on a lazy Sunday afternoon, with little hints of tropical fruit cups in the background. The flavor is completely reminiscent of white grapefruit juice.

Received as an extra in a trade and shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy golden hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light lacing and a thin blanket.

S - Aromas of nice grapefruit peel and excellent mandarina Bavaria hops. Lightly grassy, heavy swirls bring out wet paper, and almost wet dog.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with decent citrus oil, orange peel, little grassy, light melons. The finish is rather bitter. Definitely flaked malts and oats.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, body has light and a bit thin.

O - Overall this was a solid enough ipa with really solid mandarina Bavaria. Still, there's much better options.

Canned 9/13/18, thanks to rudzud
Pours a decent foamy creamy head that fades at a med pace, nice lacing, super murky orange peach color

Nose tons of orange juice, citrus, tangerine, some citrus grassy lemongrass nice mandarina bavaria, swirling kicks up a little grapefruit but also a papery pulp wheat grist

TAste brings soft juicy feel but not a juicy citrus, some citrus, a little orange oil, rind, tangerine, zest, bitter rind, little grapefruit and lemongrass, bit grassy in general, more flaked wheat but also papery pulp notes, drier and bitter finish

Mouth is med bod, a bit soft creamy but not too juicy, decent carb but a bit light

Overall eh, hops were fairly nice other than some extra bitterness, malt grain thing and that weird papery thing was eh
