Picked up a 16 oz Mason Jar draft from the Craft Beer Quick Stop for $5.00 on 9-12-19. Consumed on 9-13-19.
Beer poured black as night with a tan head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is a nice dose of mild roasted coffee forward and medium roasted malts.
Taste is mild roasted coffee that combines nicely with the large but mildly roasted malt base. Hopping is moderate, just enough to leave a touch of sweetness in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth.
Overall a very tasty beer. Check it out if you like coffee stouts!
