A fresh batch of DREAMY DRAW brings fresh changes too! We took a holistic look at this beer and decided to bring it just a bit more balance. Simply by adjusting whirlpool hopping, and timing of dry hop we were able to still bring Galaxy intensity, but in a more approachable format. Very soft and very drinkable and just hits you all over with this new more intense lot Galaxy. Massive tangerine, tropical dank, diesel, passionfruit. Crazy. This newest DREAMY DRAW DDH DIPA was designed with all that in mind. An 8% super pale, hazy DIPA base. Brewed with under modified North American Pils malt, flaked oats, and @grainrandd unmalted Blue Beard Durum. We absolutely saturated it with 2020 Galaxy and that’s it. Could smell this beer all day! Enjoy what Galaxy has to offer.

Another pickup from the lack of help around the house. But hey I get beer sometimes.
This one pours one of the thicker hazy ipas. Its yellow. Full on 1" of good retention head when poured into the old 90s label Green Flash pint glass. As far as hazy ipa appearances go, this is upper echelon stuff.
The aroma has the usual proprietary hop smells. This is that hefty Galaxy dry hop that goes beyond the usual requisite overripe pineapple notes, there is also a light citrus and tropical guava presence. If you wanted to find stone fruit in there you could do. Fuzzy.
The taste is enjoyable, lots more guava hop notes running to the forefront, passing up pineapple. The body has that smoother, less bitter aspect to it, as designed, by virtue of flaked wheat/oats and pilsner malt. Pretty damn easy to push this 8% down the gullet. Looks even cooler when rocking a mullet (which I was and am). Definitely one of the better hoppy beers I've had out of Arizona, not quite up to their lager game, but very good stuff.

Man, this one is a sparkler! Dang sucker pours straight up Sunny D-like. And you know what? That’s cool for Raul. Back in the day when I was a lil soldier and got sugar ripped on that liquid magic... Yeah, I’m feelin’ dat. Dippin’ my beak in da thang, it was ok. Nothing monumental like Monumental Park, ya feel me? But when Dreamy Draw hit my tongue... Oh my sweet hell - it’s like licking citrus juice off of Sara Sompano in Malta - I mean, come on! This shit is straight wild! You sip da damn thing and get pretty good, New England essence and all that; but in the end, there’s just this extra “pop” that I have never experienced before. It’s almost like ODB singing “Shimmy Shimmy Ya.”
Yep. Raul is into that!
