Base is a translucent golden amber with a fluffy white head consisting of large bubbles. Good lacing and head retention.
Aroma is light but fruity and sweet with notes of candy and natural peach rings at the fore.
The fruity hop character is present but is quite balanced out by pleasant malt and moderate bitterness. Alcohol is astringent but not overpowering.
Crisp carbonation and smooth, creamy mouthfeel that is typical of their IPA's.
This is a well balanced West Coast IPA with light fruitiness and moderate bitterness. I unfortunately drank it without a meal, but I can certainly understand how this beer would pair well with a juicy burger as it was intended.
