Another first review on BA for this beer. I prefer this Strata version to the OG, and the OG is pretty dang good.
Pours hazy. Not thick hazy, but you know, hazy. 2/3" white head, yellow beige body. Poured into a Lost Coast brewery pint glass. Thanks Charlotte for getting your hand in the picture. The aroma has that Strata weed berry couch strain going for it, very nice.
Taste, oooh this is a smidge nicer. The Strata pops as the kids say, lots of weed and light strawberry note. Sure, throw in some stone fruit fuzziness for it as well. Makes 7% easy to drink, the flaked/rolled wheat/oat aspect is well done, still has enough bitterness to keep it in my ipa wheelhouse. I'm not even sure what the OG version has hop bill wise, I just know I like this Strata version a little bit more. You don't even have to hide your love away.
Ultimately, this is probably their best hoppy beer, equity in terms of weed, berries, tangerine and peach notes. Well done.
