Had this beer like a year ago, but this Next Glass owned internet place is pretty dead amongst the west coast learned population, so despite the big gap in time, I'm the first one to add this beer. You're welcome.gif; Pours the hazy ipa style appearance, yellow, coated, 1/2" white head.
The aroma had this guava pineapple thing going for it, I dunno, Galaxy hops seem like a good guess, but the website that bought this one says it has Mosaic, Simcoe and Vista hops. I don't really remember Vista hops.
The taste imparts a slightly sharper amount of guava aspect. Is that Vista, I guess so? Also the Simcoe bitter/sharpness is better described as part of the mouth feel. The hazy flaked wheat aspect was done well, I kind of like these hybrid Simcoe hopped grapefruit bitterness meets hazy ipa body. Light on the barley, heavier on the wheat here. I should get more acquainted with the Vista hop. Another good one from Wren House.
