Debuting in our Keystone series, selected by our members, is a blend of a nineteen-month Rip van Winkle barrel-aged Kingsnake and a twenty-nine-month Weller barrel-aged Imperial Stout. The base offered a toffee-nut sweetness and soft oaky vanilla. Member-chosen additions include New Caledonia vanilla, Bergamot orange, Guatemalan cacao from Zak's Chocolate, and roasted hazelnuts. The result is a 12.2% ABV masterpiece with a deep chocolate aroma, a hint of Bergamot citrus, and a rich flavor profile of baker's chocolate, balanced bitterness, and hazelnut sweetness.
