16oz draft
Pours a finger of white head into a dimple mug. Retention is average. Lacing is solid. Body is golden yellow. Looks good.
Nose is noble, slightly spicy, but very tame, I can certainly understand the whole cone part of this. A touch of malt, but also relatively light there. Smells decent.
Flavor is spicier, definitely leans on those hops. Like most American versions, the malt is a whisper and far lower than most Czech or even German offerings. Tastes nice enough.
Light bodied, but a medium-high carbonation has it drink a little bigger than that. Bitterness is pretty high. Well-attenuated. Overall a clean, assertively bitter mouthfeel.
Drinkability is good.
Overall it’s nice. Could use a little malt depth for a Czech lager, but the rest fits the mold for a 4% beer.
