Lovely deep yellow color with plenty of foam in the Hakodate Trolley glass. Flavor is rich and fruity but not excessively bitter. The hop flavors run more to fruit and just some lime and lemon peel in the aftertaste. Moderate sweetness, but quite tasty with all the melon and mango. Some peppery notes in the finish. Overall this is a better than average hoppy brew I"m glad to have tried. Makes me look forward to trying the new crop of Pizza Port IPAs. From the 16 oz can purchased on the West Coast (Astoria, OR). July 2025 canning date.
