An easy sipping wheat beer. Fairly nondescript - the hops are faint and take a definite back seat. Some citrus is evident although the overall feel is from the yeast, which makes it a little bready.

On tap at the LA Beer Week Kickoff Festival held at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy orange-white head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of wheat, grain, dried citrus peel, earth, spice, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, citrus fruit, earth, spice, and yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of yeast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is refreshing and easy to drink.
Serving type: on tap.
