On tap at Newhall Refinery in Newhall, CA.
Pours a hazy honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with great citrus forward hop qualities that come through especially well in the smell.
Serving type: on tap.
