Copenhagen 11/5 2018. 33 cl bottle from a Book, Wine and Booze Store in Kappeln. Silhouette of what looks like a dancing horse on the label.
Pours hazy pale yellow with big white head. Settles as thin frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Clinging to the side of the glass.
Aroma is quite sweet and reminds me of a lemonade. Orange and citric overtones. The wheat peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly weaker fresh sourness. Aftertaste is short and sweet.
Generic Witbier on the watery side.

Pours a light, hazy orange with a nice solid head. Aroma of coriander, citrus, fresh white bread, herbs. Herbs are very dominant in the taste as well. It’s lightly sweet, but also with a pleasing light bitterness. The bitter oranges it’s brewed with are definitely there. While my girlfriend instantly got the classic banana, I found that the herbs and oranges pleasantly dominate the aroma and made this a pretty classic belgian wit. My concern with this beer is that, while it is very good in terms of aroma and pleasant in taste, it lacks in palate. It’s creamy and has lively carbonation, but it’s too thin and a bit watery. The oatmeal it was brewed with really didn’t show in terms of body. While I found that after a few sips, it got more defined and didn’t taste as watery anymore, I was a bit disappointed at first.

From Costco. In Teku glass. Playing Bioshock Remastered. All the typical notes of the style perfectly well implemented and with a body bigger than usual

From the Kalea Bier Advents Kalender. From the bottle, it pours a hazy light amber with a nice head that slowly diminishes to a thin layer with bubbles. Nose gets the wheat, coriander and maybe a little orange. Mouth gets the same.

Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma has wheat and coriander. Taste starts sweet with wheat, coriander, banana and a bit of citrus fruits. Body is light and effervescent. Very true to style of a classic belgian witbier. Tasty and easy to drink.
