Copenhagen 3/5 2018. 33 cl bottle from Book & Wine Store in Kappeln. Slightly too old (best before 3/4 2018).
Pours clear amber with a small white head. Some funny threads drifting around. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam.
Aroma is sweet caramel, metal and some dark lightly fermented fruit.
Medium strong carbonation and thin, watery texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly weaker bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lightly roasted. Fairly short.
Not the greatest Amber Ale I've tasted.

clear, light amber colored. huge off-white colored head. good head retention. Lightly toasted malt, balanced with mild earthy hops. Thin to medium bodied.

Clear deep golden color, slightly towards amber, white head. Aroma is mainly malty, grainy, like a helles lager with some vague hops in the background. Taste is also on the malty side, bready, grainy with a slightly bitter finish. Body is on the light side with a very crisp carbonation. Overall it feels more like a slightly hoppier lager, not really what you would expect from an amber ale.
