GLASSWARE: nonick... pours a dark mahogany body with minimal light... its off-white head circles out inconsistently, sporting a variety of bubble sizes and head smears... toasted malts, toffee, chocolate, and brown sugar create a solid profile... its mouthfeel is decidedly brown ale--medium-bodied, enduring at the throat, and viscous... its flavor is rather robust, with the promised chocolate, toffee, light caramel, sweet sugars, and a wonderfully sweet payoff... the chocolate is not as significant as the label would suggest, but the overall effect is enjoyable--not overly lactic, with a strength and malt profile that works...
