Draft offering at the Batdorf served in a snifter appears black in color with a khaki head.
There is cherry immediately evident on the nose with a pleasant roasty backing of earth and chocolate.
The taste is cherry upfront than earthy roast and coffee into the aftertaste. The cherry feeling seems a bit artifical but its not bad or distracting by any means.
This is light in body with modest carbonation. For my first RBC beer I was impressed.
