Here we have another of my "problem children" - those CANned beers who see fit to CANtinue to ferment in their CANtainers, causing the lids to pooch out (best case scenario) or blow out the vent or blast the lid off at the seams altogether (worst case scenario). If I CAN catch them while they are merely pooching, they go into the reefer immediately to cool & get CANsumed shortly thereafter.
From the CAN: "Brewed and Canned in Annville, PA".
I worked the tab around to get the vent to Crack! open & then gave it a helping hand to fully open it. Once all of this was acCANplished, I beCAN with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug but since it was listed as a NEIPA & clarity was not a CANcern from the outset, I let it flow rather freely. I soon wound up with two-plus fingers of foamy, soapy, rocky, off-white head with low retention. Color was a turbid Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose smelled strongly of grapefruit citrusiness and some tropical fruitiness. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium, about par for the style. The taste had a pronounced citrusy-grapefruit bitterness with just enough of a tropical fruit sweetness to offset it & make it palatable. Finish was dry & bitter, but there was nothing to distinguish it from others in the style. Ah well. YMMV.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
