sampling a cold 32 oz crowler that I picked up at the brewery about 6 months ago. Buried in my fridge and forgot about this one. The beer pours a fairly clear golden to straw color with a frothy bleached white head foaming up 4 cm and fading slowly. The foam leaves lots of dense lattice on the glass.
Aroma is sweet fruit with orange and some white grape and peach. Sort of mild nose overall with a little bit of grainy malt and some booze too.
First sip reveals a thinner body than expected and fine carbonation. Texture is a little watery to be honest.
Flavor is mild as well and has some white grape notes with a little bit of grainy malt notes. Also some boozy hits that add a black pepper bite on the swallow.
Overall this beer is a disappointment. It may have faded some after the 6months cold in a crowler, but even still, this beer isnt really great and I wouldnt buy it again.
