From the bottle, it pours a classic weissbier light amber with a nice white head. Bread in the nose. Bread in the mouth. For a low alcohol (they say no alcohol) beer, this is definitely not bad, or pretty good!

Feb. 2013: 500 ml swingtop bottle, from the n/a shelf at Vinmonopolet Verksgaten, Stavanger. Cloudy honey-coloured beer, large white head. Very moderate but not unpleasant aroma of cloves and heather honey. The mouthfeel is thin and watery, of course, but the beer is not too sweet, and has some subdued notes of the typical hefeweizen elements (cloves, banana and citrus). Furthermore, it has NOT much of the typical and sickly n/a beer characteristics (over-cooked vegetables, maize baby porridge). Hell, I could actually drink this as a refreshment, when I have to drive. One of the "better" (= least miserable) n/a beers i’ve had.

Deep apricot colored beer with a nice haze. Tall creamy off-white head fades slowly leaving little bits of lace. Bubble gum and banana in the nose along with a bit of malty wort. Ehhh....yuck. The flavor is just a mess. It starts with sweet wort flavor that tastes like it's been sitting around for half a year. There are yeasty/doughy undertones that never stand a chance, and the finish is just horrible. All flavor disappears in the end; washed away by the flavor is seltzer water. Mouthfeel is light and clean with a light sour feeling towards the end. I'm going to let this sit for 15-20 minutes to see if things change as it warms...
It's a bit toned down, but everything is still a mess. If you see this beer... just run!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
