Pours a crystal clear, bright golden coloration with a medium, fluffy head and visible carbonation. Smells of light, doughy, grainy malt, floral, grassy hops and just a hint of honey. Taste is a decent balance of light doughy, grainy malt and quite floral and grassy hops, with a hint of honey sweetness as well. Finishes semi-dry, with a light/medium bitterness and some floral hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and medium/lively carbonation.
This is a decent, crisp and refreshing Lager, with the hops feeling a lot more prominent than the malts here, but the balance seems a little off to me, this being a bit too sweet and floral for my personal taste, although it actually turns a bit more dry in the finish after a certain initial honey sweetness.

Clear yellow with mid-sized white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, hay, and malt. Malt and bread notes in taste. Medium bitterness in finish and aftertaste. Very good beer.

Copenhagen 11/3 2023.l. 50 cl bottle with a swing cap brought home from a border shop by my in-laws. Drawing of an idyllic landscape including a little town with a white church on the label.
Pours clear golden yellow with a big dense white head. Stable. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and bit chemical odor mingling with a bit of sour grains. Sweet pale malts, bread, soapy detergent. Citrus and grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweetish, malty and a bit generic.

This one was drunk on the banks of the mighty Danube in Regensburg, Germany, in September 2023, having been bought at the Edeka Isartor in Munich a few days earlier.
L: Light golden yellow, thin white head, minimal carbonation. Apart from the carbonation, it looks exactly like a beer...
S: The aroma is dusty hay and floral hops.
T: The taste is sweet, smooth, mildly bitter and very moreish. The finish is relatively dry, encouraging another sip.
M: Mouthfeel is full, with medium carbonic prickle.
O: An uncomplicated, easy-drinking beer that demands a second bottle.
Cheers!

Decent lager. Pours light gold with mild carbonation. Nothing particularly noticable on the nose. Taste is mild hops. Slightly sweet. Very decent and serviceable German lager.

Pale-ish golden straw colour with two fingers of white head. Bready and slightly grainy malt on the nose. More of the same on the flavour, as well as some earthy very gently spicy hops character. The malt leans towards the grainy side, and tastes sweet, neither in a bad way though. Goes down smooth as you like. Overall a solid German lager.

Sep. 2010: 500 ml swingtop bottle, from Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 5.4%. Very pale yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Fairly nice sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and grassy hops. Light bodied. The flavour has some malty sweetness and moderate German hops in the finish - nothing remarkable here, but still a fairly well made and drinkable beer.

Pours a clear yellow with a couple of fingers of soft head.
Smell is malty and slightly sweet, with some floral notes and hints of honey and toast.
Taste is malty and a bit corny, with notes of white bread, honey and some herbs over a soft, floral bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a nice lager, soft and sessionable.

0.5l bottle, tulip, “05.03.19” on the back label.
This is a beautiful beer, whose pristine pale yellow and fluffy white lace I might call characteristic of the style if I knew more about it.
Sweet corn, a little biscuit, just an edge of pepper.
It’s still sweet, adjunct sweet. Now I know they don’t cotton to adjuncts in jolly old Deutschland, but this is very sweet and out of balance. The finish cleans up a little; slightly drying and soft mineral bitterness.
A soft carbonation is a departure from mainstream lagers, as is the medium full body.
I find this filling, bock like, and I suppose not so sweet. It’s enjoyable as a change of pace.
