Black Iris is situated a bit outside of Notting city centre, but easily accessible by tram.
Atmosphere is laid back, friendly and inviting. The place is not very big, basically a cozy beer garden. Note the slope though, as the whole area leans quite a bit as I found out at my own cost. Basically, mind where on the benches you sit, especially if you´re a bigger lad.
Beer section is excellent, about 10 or 12, divided on cask and tap. Very good selection, with ample variety and great quality. Everything I drank was very tasty.
Service is super friendly and chatty, but not overbearing.
They serve pizza, which was very tasty as well.
Overall, a tremendous little spot, absolutely worth heading to New Basford for.
