Devil's Kettle Brewing

Unlike the current BA photo, this brewpub is now painted (devil?) red and has named their beers to match this theme. There are a good variety of beers on tap with 1 nitro tap and a particular strength in barrel aged beers. Friendly service. Plenty of on site parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. 3 of the 4 beers I tried were good or better.

 

A cool little place to visit in Athens Ohio. Simple nice bar and seating that is cozy
with great service and a classic vinyl spinning bartender who throws on some
mighty fine tunes as well as slinging some quality suds. Beer selection is solid with
offerings from strong ales to IPA's with choices for all levels of beer experience. Very
good service and a nice outdoor patio weather permitting. All in all we will return to this
gem outside of the hustle and bustle of down town Athens which gets over run with
students between classes. Could use a bigger facility, but still very nice.

I enjoyed my visit. Great place to stop if you are in the area. About 10 taps. No food, other than chips and salsa, but you can bring your own. The owner will talk to you about beer all day long. Great vibe. Great atmosphere. Nice selection of beers. Only about a year old. Room to grow, but has come along way.

 

 

Very nice people, eager to discuss their ber and whatnot. This place is a pretty standard looking little building, lots of lighting, nice music / devil-y motif. Selection was pretty good for a place just getting underway.
