Have had this on draught, but didn't rate it - now rating a January 2024 bottling from batch 901. Better than I remember - pours a slightly hazy dark gold, with an ivory peaked and retentive head. Sweet and fruity on the nose, with mango and peach - later some grain. Much more balanced on the tongue - almost Kölsch-esque dry hops, with a later development of sweeter fruit, still very mild. Ends clean,

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has clean malt, earthy/woody hops and some mineral notes. Taste has some grainy malts at first, slightly nutty, continues with earthy hops and a medium bitterness that lingers on the aftertaste. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. A nice pale ale with a really classic hop profile.

330ml bottle at Harrild and Sons, London (£4.50):
A really nice first beer from Orbit for me, excellent taste with plenty hops & bitterness. Almost more IPA than pale ale but enjoyable nonetheless with a solid refreshing taste & one that was easy to drink; I can't wait to try more from the brewery now.
